ACEC Virginia Engineering Excellence Awards 2027: deadline and how to enter
The ACEC Virginia Engineering Excellence Awards are the state round of ACEC's national program. A winning project can advance to the national competition, whose deadline is January 6, 2027.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Entry deadline | November 6, 2026, per ACEC's national member-organization deadlines list |
| Entry fee and format | Not shown on the ACEC Virginia pages we checked. ACEC Virginia's online EEA entry portal is live for the 2027 cycle -- confirm the fee and format there, or with ACEC/VA directly, before you plan. |
We could not find the deadline stated in plain text on ACEC Virginia's own pages, so this date comes from ACEC's national tracking list, the same source already used elsewhere on this site. We will update this once we confirm it directly on ACEC/VA's site.
How to plan backward from the deadline
- Pick one project that fits the criteria and has a result you can prove.
- Gather the facts and sources first. Use our project facts checklist.
- Ask the owner for a short quote and for approval to use it, well before the deadline.
- Leave several days for your team's edits before you submit.
Want help drafting it?
AEC Awards Desk drafts the entry narrative from the facts you send, written to the program's criteria and limits, and you review, edit and submit it yourself. It is $495 for one entry, or $395 a month if you want your calendar kept current and entries drafted all year, and the first three firms see the full draft before they pay. Not sure which project to enter? A $95 fit check ranks up to three, credited toward a $495 entry if you buy within 30 days. See pricing or email hello@aecawardsdesk.com.
