National deadline and fees
ACEC's national Engineering Excellence deadline is January 6, 2027, and the entry must come up through a state council first. The national entry fee is $1,400 for member firms and $3,850 for non-members, per ACEC's 2027 call for entries.
What to do now
- Find your state council's page and confirm its date and entry fee.
- Pick the project that best fits the criteria, then gather the facts before you start writing. Our project facts checklist lists what to collect.
- Work backward from the deadline. A reviewed draft needs several days for your team's edits and the owner's quote.
